Preserving your funeral flowers with White Poppy is a thoughtful and seamless process. We are dedicated to capturing the beauty and sentiment of your floral arrangements, turning them into cherished, lasting keepsakes. From the moment we receive your flowers to the final framed artwork, every step is handled with care and attention to detail.

Step #1
Sending Us Your Flowers
Once you've decided to preserve your funeral flowers, simply contact us to arrange shipping or delivery. We provide detailed instructions on how to carefully package and send the flowers to ensure they arrive in the best condition possible. We also offer mailing kits. Whether freshly cut or a few days old, our preservation techniques work to restore their beauty.
Step #2
Pressing and Drying the Flowers
After receiving your flowers, we begin the process of preserving each bloom. We flatten and dry the flowers over the course of several weeks. This delicate process ensures the natural colors and shapes are maintained, capturing the essence of each bloom in its most beautiful form. We monitor the flowers closely to ensure they dry properly without losing their vibrancy.

Custom Design Creation
Once the flowers have been fully pressed and dried, we move on to designing your custom arrangement. We consult with you to understand your preferences for the final piece—whether you’d like a simple, classic arrangement or something more intricate. Our designers then carefully arrange the flowers in a way that honors the original bouquet while creating a timeless work of art. You will receive a preview of the design for your approval before the final framing.

Framing and Finishing
After you approve the design, we complete the process by framing the flowers in your chosen display. We offer a variety of framing options, including shadowboxes or elegant glass frames, to match your style and home décor. Each piece is carefully sealed and protected to ensure the flowers remain preserved for years to come.

No worries! We know sometimes blooms are fragile in shipping so we have a repurchase option for any flowers that did not make it!
Once your flowers arrive to us, we will assess your blooms, send you pictures, and let you know if any of your flowers need a replacement! From there, we will let you know and you can decide to either upgrade your frame with a repurchase, or keep your frame as is! Sometimes we will suggest a smaller size frame if we don’t think there are enough flowers for the original frame, but we want to find an option that best suits you!

We know that shipping your blooms to us can be super costly! So here are some ideas of how to help!
Our shipping kits are what we would suggest! These kits can save you $100+ due to your box being the optimal size / weight. You also get a pre-made shipping label and all the right supplies to get your flowers to us!
If shipping yourself: try to make sure the box is as small as possible without squishing your blooms! The bigger the box, the more expensive the shipping!
Overnight shipping is our preferred method of shipping…but if you do want to save on cost, you can do 1-3 day, especially if it is in the cooler months. Although you do accept the risk of longer shipping, it will save you money!
If shipping your flowers just seems too risky, you can always opt in to a full repurchase! We can purchase the blooms you had in your event from our wholesaler and press those in house! While this options isn’t as sentimental, you’ll save on shipping costs and guarantee the flowers will be in pristine condition!
5. We have custom necklaces for someone on a budget! These necklaces just need one simple bloom and the flowers can be sent in a small envelope to save tons of costs instead of shipping an entire bouquet!
6. Choosing a different carrier can also influence cost!

The timeline begins when we get the flowers! The process takes 8-10 weeks on average.
If you do decide on a repurchase for your flowers it will add 2 additional weeks to the timeline because it takes us that long to get the new flowers shipped to us from the flower farms!

We have spent thousands of hours experimenting with the best way to preserve each of your unique blooms and will make sure your flowers stay vibrant and colorful, but certain varieties of flowers will naturally change color as they are preserved. With that said, if you are worried about your flowers colors changing (specifically, pinks, whites and
reds) we do offer color correction add-on options to return your flowers to their original, fresh/alive, color and help ensure the colors are what you are looking for!
